The position also will ensure you have a direct view of colorful Costa Rican sunsets for part of the year. Two smaller flat homesites with no ocean view are located next to a stream on the property. Guests would be able to enjoy the sound of fresh running water from their rooms at night. ASADA water and electric are available at the property line. Quiet Community Near Established Expat Community La Florida is a small community made up of locals and few ex-pats. The community sits on a ridge which is what gives it breath-taking views and a surprisingly cool climate for being just 45 minutes from the beach. You can find a simple market in town, but you will most likely need to do most of your errands in Tinamastes which is 15 minutes away. Tinamastes is one of the first ex-pat established communities in Costa Rica and is a lovely community to be involved with.
