Relax Lodge: An oasis of peace only a few steps from town and beach

This property is nestled in Canto de Gavilanes, a neighborhood that’s being more and more prized these last few years. It was built in 2004 and remodeled by the new owners in 2017. Just a 10-minute walk from the beach of Playa Sámara, this small boutique hotel is set in a beautiful tropical garden, equipped with an inviting pool with a feel good and soothing atmosphere. The location could not be greater as it is: and about 400 m away from the town amenities are easily accessible by foot or by bike, you don’t really need a car so you are helping with saving the environment. The lodge has 1 standard room (about 20 square meters) and 4 superior rooms (about 30 square meters) all equipped with AC, an office space that could easily be converted in a room. The owners live in a 2 very good size rooms space on the upper floor. All of them are furnished with attention to detail and combine the modern construction with rustic furniture and handcrafted accessories in order to keep the natural feel. The rooms do not have a kitchen but there’s one which the owners use for themselves located in a very nice little restaurant by the pool. Upon their discretion they let the guests use it from time to time. Facing the pool there’s a good size room which the owners use as an office, it could be easily transformed to a bedroom. One thing that’s very original with the lodge is the little library corner. It’s located in the outdoor area and one can sit and read while sipping your favorite drink. Another original idea: the lodge have a big cittern hanging overhead near the entrance, since there is a big space underneath it, the owners converted the latter into a rather cool smoking area with a sofa. The outdoor area is just splendid! The surrounding well maintained and colorful garden is the main attraction. There are fruit plants, flowers and other tropical plants all over, well arranged. You have the feeling that this is being orchestrated by a grand maestro. The pool is big part of the whole attraction also. An open air little restaurant with nice handcrafted sitting tables, bar and chairs that’s adjacent to the said pool completes the scenery. This lodge offers plenty of opportunities as it can be used as a big or multi- family place, rental income property, retreat or all of this in alternated. It’s been offering rentals on different websites since 2018 and have been a very good source of revenues for the owners.
